This seems to be a really good alternative to buying quicktime pro for converting movies into ipod format.

I'm finding it really easy to use but haven't an ipod to test it with, anyone want to pioneer?

here's the link

Found this on macbytes, seems really relevant for current times
wonder what you all think?

edit> just discovered that it only converts quicktime files, so no support for imovie. Therefore not a complete alternative to quicktime pro

i tried this yesterday, it's piss poor. Tried to encode and it just said 'queued'...the app is now 'queued' in my Trash.

so far for me it's worked.

Fairly limited options though, no choice but MPEG-4, which is a shame.

However, its done what it said it would do so far, so im not going to be one to complain.
