something other than ivideo for catalouging and previewing videos and clips..

Use Front Row.

I setup my Movies Drive with Genre Folders (Action, Comedy, Drama, Horror, Thriller, Suspense, Romantic Comedy, etc.)

In each of those I setup Alphabetical Folders...I have about 320 Movies so I did a folder for A-E, F-J, and so on.

Then I drag the appropriate movies into those folders.

Now make an alias of the Drive or Folder, so for me I right-clicked (ctrl+click) on the Movies Drive, and select 'Make Alias' from the menu.

I drag that alias to the Movie directory in my Home area.

Now in Front Row you can navigat to Movies, Movies Alias, Comedy, F-J, and see theh movies there and the preview.

You can also use iTunes to archive them, and select the cover art, but it makes itunes very slow.
