Moving a picture to a folder on my phone rather than copying?

I have just started to use the function of creating my own folders on my iphone to organise my pictures.

From the Camera Roll, I hit the top right arrow, then selected 10 photos, then 'Add To' and created a new album.

All good.

However, is there a way of moving these pictures rather than copying them? The main reason for doing this is to clear my Camera Roll and they are all still there!

That's the way the standard app works I'm afraid. There is a very good JB app which does exactly what you want to do, and more...and all integrated into the Photos app
