I started off as a mac guy but for the last 10 years I have been building and using dells. My last mac was the original imac and an old powerbook running OS9. Other than having all three iphones and I have lived vicariously through others and converted many a happy user. So in preparation for bringing home the ipad this Saturday. I purchased a new Mac Mini (4gig ram), changed to a dual band Airport Extreme and purchased the mighty mouse. I already had the wireless keyboard hoping in vain it would one day work with the iphone.

I am excited to say the least. Any suggestions or words of wisdom for my conversion? I plan to start syncing my iphone to the mini and will do a fresh install at the time. I am assuming a new version of itunes will be released later this week.

How smooth a process will it be porting my apps and data over? I do have a Mobile Me account and most of my calendar info is backed up over my office outlook and gmail calendars. I am not too worried about data loss I have everything backed up multiple ways.
