Moving bootcamp partitioned hd to optibay

I have a macbook pro 13 early 2011 with 1 tb hdd as main drive partitioned with os x mavericks and windows 8.1 and I'm planing on getting an SSD and installing it as the main drive and replacing the optical drive with my 1tb HDD without erasing it question is will my mac boot with

HDD in optibay
partition 1:mavericks
partition 2:windows 8.1

SSD main harddrive place
mavericks or whatever new os comes later in the year

because i heard the macs can't boot windows from second hard drive.

Your mac can boot from your second hard drive just fine, whoever told you that was full of it.

With that said, maybe Winclone may allow you to move your bootcamp partition over to the other drive, but don't quote me on that.
