Apologies if this has already been addressed on these forums, but I was interested in backing up all copies of software CDs that I've purchased in the past, i.e. MS Office 2008, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc. and was wondering if it was possible to back them up in a way that I wouldn't ever need to the use the CDs again for installation. Do I need to do anything fancy like create ISOs or can I just simply select all files on the respective CDs and copy them one by one into their respective directories on the external drive?

Thanks in advance for any help.
