I was wondering if there's a way to move/copy (Movies/Pictures/Documents/etc) folders from home directory to external drive (time capsule in my case) without losing picture of the folder, for example.

By that I meant those icons:

This is a failry easy task. Here's a guide: http://reviews.cnet.com/8301-13727_7-57365307-263/moving-your-home-folder-in-os-x/

In short, go to your system settings. Open up accounts. Unlock the lock (in case it's locked). Right click on your own account. Chose advanced settings. Here you can set a new folder for your home folder. Click browse (or something like that) and select your external hard drive (it will automatically recognize it's "volumes/external hard drive/". Or whatever the name of the external hard drive is).
