Just bought a new G5 and had backed up my old G5 HD on an external drive. Moved my iPhoto (Iphoto 5) file over to the new machine and replaced the existing iphoto file on the new mac. Iphoto 6 asks where the library file is and then does not recognize the photo's when directed to the folder. Even tried moving the folder again after performing a BatChmod on the folder to reassign ownership etc. - no luck.
I can drill down in the old file and see the pictures, but can not get i Photo 6 to recognize them. Would also really like all of the albums and slide shows also.
