Moving files from Mac Disk to DOS

I want to copy some .iso files(films) from my mac disk (MacBook Pro) to a DOS disk my father in law is using under Windows.

Any tips on how to do this so he can watch these movies under his own system? Something that bothers me is that I recall that back in the day there was a limitation for file sizes in DOS. Is there a more efficient format for his external HD that will let me copy the files so he can run them under Windows.

FAT32 (MS-DOS format) has a file size limitation of 4GB per file. Either transcode the films to a smaller size via Handbrake or use NTFS-3G to write to NTFS formatted volumes (no 4GB file size limit).
