Hey guys,
Have been researching how best to do this, and figured instead I'd just put it here and see if I was right, or wrong, or what.
In any event, I am going from a Dell laptop with dock that connects to 2 24" Dell monitors via Displayports (the Dell dock has 2 displayports natively), and a 3rd external display which is connected via USB to DVI. That all works fine, but now I'm running into a bit of an issue.
Looks like the MBP has 1 miniDisplayport and 1 Thunderbolt port, plus 2 USBs. I would like to connect up to both monitors natively (1 via miniDP, and one via Thunderbolt) and have the 3rd still over USB to DVI on projector.
Would that be possible? I've tried the USB to DVI for my 2nd monitor and there is a bit of a noticeable lag dragging from one monitor to the other which might be the limitation of the onboard graphics?
I saw the Matrox Dual2Go but it looks like it wants my monitors to support 50Hz in order to work, which mine won't do.
Thanks for any help or suggestions.
