In light of the 10.8 and iOS 6 announcements I've decided it's now worth it to switch to Safari.
I've moved all my bookmarks, extensions, greasemonkey scripts, etc. over without problem, but not Adblock.
It seems to be a totally different extension on Safari, and it's much harder to use.

Is there any way to move all my custom filters on firefox (a lot of which were made with element hiding helper) to the safari extension?
Or do I just have to go through all the websites I normally use and manually block everything again?

Given that the plugin architecture between the browsers is so different, I don't think there is a way to do what you want.
