moving from individual plan to family plan...unlimited data?

i currently have the unlimited data plan because i was grandfathered in when they switched to the 200mb/2gb plans. i have my own individual plan right now but i want to add my gf to my plan. we're thinking about moving to a family plan. if we do that will i be able to keep my unlimited data, or will i have to move to 2gb?

if you have unlimited you will not have to change it even if you move over to a family plan or change anything else. your girlfriend however will most likely not be able to get it unless she already has it as well
