Moving from PC to Mac - How do I preserve my iPhone folders?

I just bought a macbook pro. I will be moving my iTunes from my pc to the mac. Moving the data isn't a problem, but how does one preserve folders and layout on the iPhone when syncing to the new computer for the first time?
 
Over 160 views and no replies. Does that mean apple really doesn't provide a solution for this? Recreating my folders and layout takes forever.

For as much as I love Apple product iTunes sure leaves alot to be desired.
