Sorry if this is in the wrong section but I couldn't find a better place.

I just moved from a Macbook Air to a Macbook Pro. I use Google Backup & Sync to backup approx 100GB of files. All these files are in the same folders on the new computer, but I can't get the app to recognise that they are the same files. I tried changing the computer name in both the app and on the website so they match, but when I start syncing it just creates a new repositiry with the same computer name and a (1) after it and starts again.

I really want to avoid having to upload it all again, as you can imagine 100GB will take many days to transfer over the internet! Is there a preferences file or something I can edit to tell the app that the computer has changed but the files have not?
