To import it without any software, I see "DCIM" folder that is under the "Internal Storage" folder which is under the "____'s iPhone" folder. Do I just drag the folder labeled "DCIM" under "Internal Storage" under "..'s iPhone" to the Pictures folder and will that delete the iPhone pictures from iPhone and move it to the computer? Will the DCIM folder contain the pictures and movies and nothing else? When I go into "DCIM", I see four different folders, each containing a bunch of pictures but it also contains four different storage-looking icons with the windows 8 logo on it. I was wondering if I should be careful not to move that from the folder and if it should stay put in the folder.

if you click around, you should be able to find everything. Just copy the files over to your HD, rather than moving them (hold cntrl)
