Can I transfer iPhone sync to my new MBP without transferring all the music from my old MBP?

I have an old MBP that my iPhone still syncs to. I got a new MBP and want to sync my iPhone with that instead.

I have started a new iTunes setup on my new MBP.

I want to keep the SMS messages and apps on my iPhone. I don't care if the existing music and videos on the iPhone are erased.
