hi,
if I copy the iPhoto folder to an external drive and then import it to iPhoto '09, will it copy everything, including completed and in-progress photobooks, calenders, etc.?
I have a lot on miniDV tapes lying around. I was going to import them all to iMovie (the only way I'll get to doing anything with them, so please don't suggest one at a time or some such
). I'll be keeping these on an external drive, but is there anyway to make them compatible with Final Cut??
I can't make head nor tails of editing in Final Cut, but I may finally learn at some point, and would prefer not to have get out the tapes again to re-import.
If not, does anyone know how many DV tapes I could fit on a 1 terabyte drive if I imported each tape with iMovie and then Final Cut?
they are 60 minutes and regular miniDV tapes, not Hi-Def.
thanks in advance.
BTW, I should point out that I would check on the iMovie/Final Cut issue myself but the charger from the camcorder is "bursted" and I'm just waiting on a replacement.
cheers
