Moving iTunes after changing drive letter

OK, so I just merged my C: & D: drive on my vista machine. I had originally made the d: to put on a test copies of Windows 7. But since I don't need it anymore, I merged the C & D back together, and want to make my E: my D: now.

I know how to do it, but I want to know how I can keep my iTunes file in check while I do this.
