Hey guys,
I followed Apple's instructions for moving your (complete) iTunes folder from your old Mac to your new one, problem is, even though the complete iTunes file is in the 'Music' folder, iTunes is completely empty when I open it up, I really want to keep my playlists and play counts, can you help me out please??
I'm going away on thursday and I would really appreciate assistance before I go.
Thanks
Forget all that, I updated the iTunes on the iMac to 7.3, copied the .xml and iTunes library files to the MBP replacing the old ones, and now it works like a charm, lovely, sorry for the useless thread/post.
The moral of the story make sure that the version of iTunes you are exporting to, is the same as the version you are coming from, or your Library File will NOT be recognized.
Sorry.
