Moving Itunes From Windows to Mac

I couldnt find an updated thread for the newest version of itunes. I'm getting a new mbp and i want to transfer my itunes library from my lenovo to my mbp. I want to keep my play counts, playlists, and ratings. Any help would be appreciated.

The new version should not have changed anything. Whilst iTunes is not running (on either machine) copy the entire iTunes folder from one to the other.

(Assuming you are letting iTunes organize your library).

Yes.

Edit to add: just to be clear you need to copy the folder that has the library file in it, not just the iTunes Music folder.

You should also copy the directory with your iPhone/iPad backups, so that iTunes doesn't treat them like new devices.
Mac - ~/Library/Application Support/MobileSync/Backup
Windows - C:\Documents and Settings\YourNamedDirectory\Application Data\Apple Computer\MobileSync\Backup
