Hi Everyone,

I'm getting a new iMac delivered today, with a 2TB hard drive in it. Right now I keep my itunes library on a 1TB external hard drive. I'd like to move it to the hard drive of my new iMac so I don't have to leave both turned on all the time.

My first step is going to be a simple migration of everything, and I assume when I do that my new iMac will still point to the external hard drive to find my itunes library.

My question is what is the easiest way to then copy the itunes library to the new mac. I vaguely remember than when I moved it to the external it was a giant pain, and not as simple as just copying over the folder with the library in it.

Any help MUCH appreciated.
