Hey everyone,

I'm currently in the process of shifting everything in my large 35569 song library, from my old 320GB external HD to a new LaCie 2big Network 2 NAS drive. This drive has built in afp smb, http smb and ftp and shows up in iTunes as being another shared iTunes library as well as Time Machine.

I made the mistake of trying to move everything using the Finder, so this morning I started the process again of changing the iTunes folder location and then selecting Consolidate library.

I hope this will be alright... I still have everything on the 320GB drive plus a Time Machine backup. Will my album art, playlists etc be affected or will it show up as being on the LaCie, when I right click on 'show in Finder' ?

I hope this to be the case because then I can zap the old drive using Disk Utility (an immensely useful app may I add!!).

I moved the library file and .itl file plus the other folders onto the actual NAS but am not sure how it should be set up if I want everything to be kept in synch across different PC's on my network.

Sorry for all the confusion! Cheers :apple:
