Moving iTunes Movie Library to External Drive

Hello.

I want to move my movies and TV show library to external drive the easiest way possible and without loosing play counts. Ideas?

I've tried this and screwed up before. This is what I think you need to do:

1) Export your current library file (you can't just copy it).
2) You may need to copy your album artwork, I'm not sure where that lives (in your music folder or with iTunes stuff?)
3) Change the location of your iTunes music folder in iTunes onto your external
4) Close itunes
5) Copy all of your music and movies into the new location
6) Re-open itunes
7) Import your library file
8) Hope everything works

No promises! I'd love to be sure on this too if anyone knows for sure.
