Moving itunes/songs to another computer?

What is the easiest way to transfer itunes/songs etc to a new computer? I'm moving from one Notebook to another soon.

copy everything in the map /Users/your username/Music/iTunes and put it on a HDD or your ipod (as disk mode) and put it on the other computer in the same map...

Forgot to add, CD drive isn't working on notebook, and Ipod touch doesn't have disc mode.

I guess I could go with external HD.
