Hey all, I have 0 space left on my macbook pro. I have final cut studio installed, 20 GB of photos in iphoto and about 40GB in itunes. I have all my music organized into album playlists...like 300+ of them.

I have a portable little firelite drive that I want to move my whole library over to free up disc space. I was wondering if anyone has done this before without getting it all messy and itunes saying files are missing?

Would just moving the whole itunes folder to the external, and then opening the .xml itunes work? I just don't want it to be messy and have to reorganize things and/or search for all my files.

Please let me know if anyone has any tips! Thanks:apple:
