Is it possible to copy a network location onto a flash drive, if so how?

Thanks
Umm, just copy the IP (or URL address) and the login info, and voila. Saved Network location

EDIT: Totally wrong forum BTW.

Sorry if I don't follow, but what program are you accessing this network, or what is the setup like?

I'm guessing it is through the Finder, in which case a network location is only an address. Are you able to bookmark the location and transfer that file.

I just can't see what you are doing exactly. I don't need a long answer, but I just need a little more info of what is going on.

When you click the apple button you get a location menu where you can choose locations. In which there are dial up numbers and pw saved. How would I copy that to another mac.

I understand now.

I have no answer for you yet though. But I'm working on it. I am looking for location files, and also network preferences, but I'm not sure where they are exactly.
