Moving Loops from Soundtrack and Garageband

I don't even know if this is a valid question... but...

What would be the best way to move Soundtrack and Garageband's sounds, music, and loops to an external hard drive?

They're so damned huge and I'd prefer if they weren't on my boot disk.
