itunes.
so tonight i swapped in a 500gb hd to replace the 80gb i had in my mac mini with that done i wanted to bring my 100gb of itunes back to the main hd so i'm able to shut off my external drive and save a little energy. anyways i wasnt in the mood to click the consolidate library thing and risk wiping everything out so i just straight copied the contents of my music folder into the itunes library folder on my new hd. then i went into pref's advanced and changed it to the new location. it did a scan which i hoped would update all my song locations. the issue is that now everything is still looking to reference it's old locations on my external drive. is there a way for me to fix this without deleting my library and keep my playlists and play counts in tact short of doing the consolidate library and having to copy 100gb a second time?
safari.
i'm having issues with a specific website. namely realgm.com forums. they don't work in safari. it makes no sense. this is on my mac mini but i have observed the same issue on a macbook. they do however work fine in firefox, also the site works fine using safari on my ibook. or any browser that i have tried on a windows machine. i have tried wiping out cookies and it didn't make any difference.
any suggestions to either issue are appreciated.
