I have installed logic pro on my own computer MBP
I am looking to change my computer so when i reinstall it on the next one, how does the whole serial key thing work? do i just not register and it will still work? because i registered on this computer already i believe.

any ideas?

Just install it and don't register it although you might have too. Won't hurt either way. Just make sure it is removed from the old computer if you sell it.

what if i don't uninstall it? will it prevent me from using the one i have or anything?

No. But you can only use it on one computer at a time. So you can't have someone else use Logic Pro on the MBP while you use it on your new computer for instance. The uninstalling comment though was more aimed at you if you were planning on selling your old computer.
