I'm a new mac user, and all of my music collection is in pc format.... I want to move the files from an external 500gb hard drive to my time capsule. After I move all those files to my TC, then I want to get time machine setup properly.

my macbook only has a 250gb hard drive & I'd like to have access to my music at anytime.

Please help guide me in the right direction to get this setup properly.

The Time Capsule drive is just a network drive, no? You can plop your music files on there and set up Time Machine just as you would without the music files.

I don't have a Time Capsule per se, but I do have an external hard drive hooked up to my Airport Extreme Base Station that I use for Time Machine and other files I decide to dump on there.
