Looking to move my music to my car, but cannot find it after searching the usual places. Currently running 15.2 on new MacMini.

First use Disk Utility to format the USB key to MSDOS (FAT).

Open Finder and Navigate to your USB key.

Then click the Desktop, then hit shift-command-G (all three at once). That will bring up a box.

Paste this > ~/Music/iTunes/iTunes Music/Music into the box and hit enter.

That should bring up a new Finder window with a list of folders showing each artist. Click the first folder then scroll down and click the last folder while holding the shift key to select everything. Now drag and drop that into the Finder window with the USB key. That should copy everything over to the USB key. Done.

Got as far as pasting ~/Music/iTunes/iTunes Music/Music into the box, but when I hit enter, no response.

If you mean the music itself, you can just select the songs you want to move in Music (app) drag and drop onto the USB stick (or inside of its open window). That's equivalent of copy from here (Music app) to there (USB stick).

You can also select the songs you want, right click, "Copy", then click inside USB stick window, right click, "paste".

You might want to verify that the car can play AAC files (probably, but not certainly). If not, it probably plays .mp3 and you will need to convert the music files to mp3.

but when I hit enter, no response.
Hmmm.... my files have been migrated from some pretty old OS versions, so your newer system may store the music files differently.

Try this.... open Finder then at the top right search for the name of an artist you know is in your music library, like I did with Adele here. That will show you where the files are stored, like you can see ~/Music/iTunes/iTunes Music/Music in my case.

~ is a shortcut for your users folder name.

From searching a bit it looks like a new, default OS install stores the music files at ~/Music/Media/Music/ , so you might try pasting that in after the command-shift-g routine.

Apple is making access very difficult. I have tried all these suggestions with no success.
