Moving OSX and Apps to Opti Drive SSD

I'm looking for some help with an upgrade on my 2010 macbook pro 10". I have purchased a data doubler, and 256 crucial extreme SSD.
Looking to do the following;
Install SSD in place of current hdd. move hdd into optical bay.
What I really need sue guidance on is what to do in order to get everything where I want it.

OSX and Apps to SSD
All Data, etc. on HDD

Anybody got bulletproof step by step instructions? I would appreciate it!

Wouldn't you be better off having the SSD in the optical drive and the hard drive in the same bay? That way the sudden motion sensor will be on the hard drive (there is none for the optical drive).

That sounds easier, I had just noticed that many people posting about the same project actually switched the location of the hdd.

I have two SSDs so, it was a non issue. I read, if memory serves me correctly, that the hard drive sleeping may be an issue in the optical bay as well.
