Moving photos from iPad to Mac

Okay, so I don't sync photos to my iPad from my Mac.

In a bizarre turn of events yesterday, I ended up syncing a folder of photos from a friend's computer to my iPad and now I don't know how/ if I can transfer these photos to my computer.

Opening Image Capture doesn't bring up this 'event' of photos I want and that folder on photostream won't appear on my computer.

How can I get these photos on to the computer?

Either email them to yourself from the iPad and open the email on your Mac, or upload them onto a cloud service (ie: Dropbox) and download them on the computer.

That's probably the easiest way.

There's no easier way? Because there's like 400 pictures and 20 videos accounting for nearly 4GB.
