Moving Picasa Database to External HDD?

I'm really digging Picasa 3 as a dedicated browser right now. It's very quick.

However, I can't stand the fact that it builds its database (db3 folder) on my system drive in ~/Library/Application Support/Google/Picasa3/db3.

I've searched around but haven't come across any way to move the database.

Any thoughts?
