I downloaded a bunch (500 or so) photos from my friend's MobileMe gallery. The pics went into my download file compressed and then uncompressed automagically in the download file.

So, now, how do I import them into iPhoto, preferably as their own event?

Thanks!

File > Import to Library (navigate to folder containing the photos)

They will come into an event called "unnamed event" (or similar, forget the exact phrase), just type over that to be whatever you want it to be/

How To Move Batch From Gallery to iPhoto

Hi. I used my MobileMe Gallery for my entire family to upload pictures from our vacation. Now I want to create photo book from those pictures. They show up in iPhoto under my gallery, but I am unable to edit them or create anything.

It's my understanding that I must copy all 500 pictures into my library to be able to do anything besides view them. Is this correct? Is this possible? Is there any way to copy the entire gallery besides opening each photo on the website and downloading individually?

Thanks for any tips!
