Moving Programs from 1 Mac to Another

I redownloaded the install files for a ton of apps and I installed fresh copys on my new mac.. some programs I want to bring over the same settings the way they were on my old mac. How do I do this? and how do I bring over the keychain?

Migration Assistant will do it. Just have it move over the user settings, etc. not the program files.
