Moving ring closing on its own

I noticed my move ring has been closing on its own lately. I would be sitting in my chair completely inactive but my move ring would move 1% at a minute and would close about 60 minute in. I have reset my watch numerous times and its still doing it. Can anyone help with this issue or bringing it in is my only alternative?
