Moving SSD to another macbook

Hi, so basically my macbook pro 2011 is ****'d, so I'm buying another 2011 macbook pro. My question is - if I move the SSD to the new macbook will everything be the same as it was on my current mac? What i'm most concerned about is all my music software, will it still be installed and what not?

Yes, everything will be the same, and it will work just fine.

Is your MBP a 15" or 17" and dead because of graphics issues?

Yes it will.

The SSD is where all that is stored, it doesn't matter which computer it's in, the data on it will remain the same.
