moving the dock in lion?

hi, i have two monitors and i want to move the dock to the second on the top left or middle left *however* i do not want to move the menubar. i know how to get it to stick to the right, that's not what i want. i've been unable to find an app to do this, was wondering if anyone knew of a good app or tip to move, float, or replace the dock entirely?
