iPod touch Moving to a new computer

I had my iTunes and iPod touch set up on one of my other computers and now I have to stop using that one and switch to another computer. When I plug in and sync my iPod on this new computer will it wipe out all of my apps? Music? Will it go back to the manufacturer's settings?
