I have an MacBook Air and used TuneSpan to put a portion of my iTunes library onto an external drive because of storage constraints on my Air. I have a new MacBook Pro and plan to use Migration Assistant to move everything over, but don't know how that will work with the "spanned" iTunes library. Unfortunately, there's not enough room on my Air to consolidate my iTunes library before migrating.

Has anyone dealt with this situation before? I guess I could just reimport the "spanned" items onto my new Mac (which will have plenty of storage space), then then "re-span" them again, but if there were some way to do this more efficiently, I'd love to know.

Many thanks in advance.
