Hey guys!
I'm moving to Florida (Miami) for the next six months for work, I'll be using AT&T as my carrier for that period.

I currently live in Montreal and use "1011#" in front of all my long-distance numbers (which are plenty) in order to avoid paying these carriers exorbitant fees! And it works. A half hour call to Florida from Montreal typically cost me $1.20 (0.04c/minute) billed directly to my carrier (Fido)

Can someone recommend a similar service in Miami?

Thanks.

Google voice - low rates with your own new number (google it)

Vonage mobile app - monthly fee but unlimited minutes

Vonage for Facebook - unlimited to others with the iPhone app.

Thanks for the advice but I'm looking for the convenience of just dialing directly from the Contact list without having to go to a separate app to place a call.

I'll keep it in mind though.
