Moving to Mac: WLM --> Messenger for Mac Chatlogs

Hi

Just bought a Mac today, and am wondering if chat logs from WLM on Windows can be read on a Mac (it's a .xml file). if not, how would I go about converting it to html or something...?

Also, what type of file does Messenger for Mac save chat logs to, for example, HTML, PDF etc?
