Hello -- I've got some home movies on VHS that I'd like to move into iMovie and put onto DVD.

What kind of hardware/cable hookup will I require to do this?

Thanks in advance!

Can you do it via S-Video? Or would you not have any sound?
I did it through my Eye TV 200, but that is pricey if you really only needed it once.

Do you have a digital video camera?

If so connect the out put RCA on the VCR to the RCA cable that came with the camera. Then connect the camera to the computer via firewire. Go to "Play" on the camera. Then go to camera on iMovie and then press "import" on iMovie and then press play on the VCR.

I use a Miglia Director's Cut or something....Google it, it works very well.
