Currently I live in the US and my contract with Verizon comes up in December. I would really like to buy an iPhone, but that also means I will have to switch to AT&T. Only problem is that I will most likely be going to university in the UK next fall if all my plans work out. If that happens and I still want to keep using an iphone will I have to pay a hefty termination fee with ATT and then start a new contract with 02 in order to keep my phone? Is there any way around this weird situation if someone is moving from one country to the next?

Thanks!

I imagine the best people to talk to is ATT.
I think if you are moving to a place they cannot cover you properly it will render the contract useless and you probbaly wont have to pay it off.

The dilemma may be that you need to buy a new iPhone and activate on 02 when you get here. That is also something that you may need to ask them as I've no idea.
