Isn't this the second rename of their "next-generation" browser?
ya, their naming scheme isnt permanent for the Mozilla suite based applications

but now its on macbytes but w/e lol

all of new new features have been available for mac users for atleast 2 months now, but I'm not complaining, I really like how Firefox now creates a new window (FINALLY) when no windows are open in the app, although december builds were when the 'feature' was finally fixed

dude! I submitted that (should've logged in ...)

unfortunately, my most hated bugs are still around.

- middle click doesn't open in a new tab
- no command / shift / option + enter for .com / .org / .net
- the extra window while exposéing

... other than that I don't feel very mac-y if not using safari :p

Same. I only use Firebird/fox when I'm stuck on Windows.

BTW, Thunderbird's been updated too.

I use Safari as my main (mac) browser as well. BUT if I encounter a page that doesn't work correctly in Safari (which still happens :| although better in v1.2) I can always take it to FireFox and know it will work. I bought this Powerbook in September and haven't had IE on it since I erased it the day I bought it.

Bottom line is, if you really like Safari, FireFox should be your second choice, rather than IE.

That being said, once the Mac port of FireFox reaches 1.0 (scheduled for July I believe), it will be a very hard choice.
