Just getting familiar with my alum MB, what are the advantages to Mozzilla mail and internet software vs mail and safari that come with the computer?

Also with my mobileme is there a way to create mail groups, or create folders for my mobileme account?

Not going to get into differences as it's more a personal preference which one to use. I use Firefox over Safari personally, why? I just do.

Mail groups is really easy. You'll create a group in Address Book and use that group name as your mail group/list.

Folders/Inboxes/Smart Folders/Smart Inboxes are possible in Mail. In order to use (AFAIK) you'll need to use Mail in order to have those folders sync up with Mobileme.
I have several mail aliases and a folder and a rule in which Mail will redirect the alias mail to those folders. Those folders show up on the web based mail in Mobileme as well as on my iPhone.
