I got a new MacBook Pro and had my MacBook fully backed up using Mozy. Does anyone know if there's any way I could just start backing up my MacBook Pro without having to re-upload all that data? I've googled it and looked on Mozy's website to no avail. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

What's keeping (and what kept) you from using Time Machine, that's right in Mac OS X already? I'd go nuts waiting on that HUUUUGE upload...

Just get an external hard drive (or if you are like me and only back up volatile stuff*, a large thumb drive [>4 GB]) and set up Time Machine.

*I may change to an external HD and back up everything.

I want an off site backup. Time Machine is great, but if something horrible like a fire happens, all your data would be lost.

I do keep an external HD backup in a fire proof safe, though.

It's always good to keep a few different backups, just in case.

True dat! I guess maybe once a week or so copy everything over to an HD stored in a safe deposit box? That's a lot of work though.
