I hope my english is good enough.
I upgraded a 2009 Mac Pro to 5,1 and wanted to put 2 X5690 in it.
CPU A worked fine from the beginning but CPU B didnt work.
I put the second CPU into socket A and it worked as well.
PRAM and SMC resets - no result
The Mac starts but without chime, HD is starting videocard is starting
I really don't know what to do anymore.
Can anybody help me?
Best Regards

Remove the CPU B and check if any of those super tiny pin in socket B is damaged.
