I have a previous gen Mac Pro (dual 2.66 GHz processors). I recently unhooked everything then hooked everything back up, and now I'm having USB problems. It doesn't seem to want to power my devices like it used to. The more devices I have plugged in, the slower they go. Sometimes it takes 30 seconds to recognize drives that used to recognized instantly. The more stuff I have plugged in, the worse it gets. All the same stuff as before, when everything ran perfectly. I'm not sure if I have things in plugged into the exact same ports or not.

I read an article recently about one of the new notebooks, and how one of the USB ports was lower-powered than the other. Is this the case with the Mac Pro, or are they all the same? I'm speaking only of those on the back. I don't use the front ones.
